Mitochondrial Augmentation

Any known disease or disorder, acute or chronic, you talk about, Mitochondrial dysfunction is the central cause associated with it. Just google name of a disease and mitochondrial dysfunction you will get numerous research papers proving these words.

From the electric-powered devices we use in our homes to the Petroleum-powered cars we drive; everything needs a source of energy (power) to operate. The human body is no different. Instead of electricity or petroleum, our body is powered by an energy-releasing molecule called adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which is made from the food we eat, in the shape of tiny capsule-cellular structures called mitochondria. Mitochondria are usually mentioned as “powerhouses” of the cells. ATP is a form of energy generated by Mitochondria. So, that our cells will do their jobs.

It is ATP that powers the energy-intensive cellular mechanisms required to take care of our health and fight disease, like tissue regeneration; preventing cell injury and death; DNA and cellular repair; the killing of bacteria, viruses, and cancer cells; and also, the removal of toxins, simply to call a couple of. Without sufficient energy in the form of ATP, our body’s ability to fully carry out its usual functions is undermined.

Recent discoveries in cellular biology have found that the basic reason of disease (and even aging itself) may all boil down to decaying energy production. once mitochondria become dysfunctional (damaged) and/or diminish in range, the availability of ATP drops. Then, our body cells face an energy crisis and, in the end, body is unable to function at full capacity to fight disease and maintain our health. More and more medical researchers are finding that such defects in mitochondrial energy production and also the resultant ATP deficiency could also be an unrecognized healthcare crisis.

Having abundant and functional mitochondria is important for maintaining a normal physiologic state and equipping your body to handle any problem as you age. Therefore, having an effective way to repair dysfunctional mitochondria, as well as stimulate the growth new mitochondria in cells, would offer a powerful approach to promoting youthful vitality at the cellular level, preventing and fighting disease, and increasing longevity. This is a promising new area of medicine and it is available at our Centre.

We try to increase the production of ATP by stimulating mitochondrial function as well as the growth of new mitochondria by using our Mitochondrial Augmentation Protocol.
